Felt is a local-first mood and journaling app. Your mood entries, journal text, profile, and activity logs stay on your device in Apple's on-device store (SwiftData). We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not run ads. Limited diagnostic data is collected through Firebase to keep the app stable.

1. Data that stays on your device

The following is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData and never leaves your device through Felt:

2. Data collected off-device

Felt uses Firebase to collect a limited set of diagnostic and analytics signals. Per our App Store privacy manifest:

Your mood entries, journal text, and profile fields are not sent to Firebase or any other server.

Felt is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used Felt, contact us and we will remove related diagnostic data.

8. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

We do not sell personal information.

9. Crisis content

Felt includes a crisis-detection feature that scans your input on-device to surface support resources. The text of your entries is not transmitted as part of this feature.

Felt is not a medical device and does not replace professional help. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove features. Material changes will be flagged in the app on next launch. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
